If you've ever had difficulty communicating treatment plans and other instructions to patients or team members, you may find using visual models is exactly what you're looking for.
Verbal instructions can be difficult to recall and remember, and therefore easily forgotten.
On the other hand, verbal instructions combined with visual models have a much better chance of being followed because the recipient can recall the diagram first and then use the model to fill in the blanks.
