Whether you've seen the Tiger King or not on Netflix, the important message I am trying to get across is to stay focused on what you have to do in your business, not what your competitors are doing. Joe Exotic became so focused on Carole Baskin that he lost sight on what he should be doing in his own business, resulting in business and personal failure.
I had a similar experience in Cairns with a podiatry competitor and while he was watching and focusing on me, I grew my business. Move ahead twenty or so years and I had a highly successful podiatry business and he was nowhere to be found.
