In this video, I share a story from my high school rugby league days when our team came up against another school that was far superior to us; they had numerous state players and two national players, so the likelihood of us beating them was slim to none.
Some players quit because they were scared and thought they might get hurt, but the rest of us hung in there, found a few replacement players and gave it a crack. Turning up and giving 100% when required is far more important than the result of any game.
